TERKCARE FOUNDATION:  We at the TERK team wish to announce that we will be doing our donation through SDG’S. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), otherwise known as the Global Goals, are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. This is in continuation of the TERK care Foundation’s efforts to encourage and empower our next generation of leaders and thank them for the awesome job they are doing. The sole purpose of this campaign is to further promote education as the most empowering tool anyone young person can have throughout the African continent, and Ghana is our first port of call.

What Does TERK Stand for?

TERK is a multi-meaning acronym, which each acronym reflecting the core values of our foundation. Among its several meanings include: “Treat EveryLGBT’S Right & Kind”,  "Tell Everyone Racism Kills”, “Tell Everybody to Respect Kingdoms”, “Treat Every wo(man ) Right & Kind”, “Try, Empower & Rebuild the Kids ( for the Future )”, “Trust Every wo(man) & Respect their Kindness”, and “Treat Everyone Right & Kind (through loving)”. This Acronym was created purposely to promote Education, Equality among all, Love throughout the world, Peace in our environment, Respect for one another most importantly Unity between us all as human beings

What Does SDG’S Stand for?

Sustainable Development Goals are a collection of 17 global goals set by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015. The SDGs are part of Resolution 70/1 of the United Nations General Assembly: "Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development". That has been shortened to "2030 Agenda".(wikipedia.org )

Where is Ghana? 

Ghana, a nation on West Africa’s Gulf of Guinea, is known for its diverse wildlife, old Forts and secluded beaches (such as at Busua). It boasts of the coastal towns of Elmina and Cape Coast with their historical Posubans (native shrines), colonial buildings and castles-turned-museums that serve as testimonials to the horrific slave trade of the previous centuries. North of Cape Coast, resides the vast Kakum National Park which has a treetop-canopy walkway over the rainforest. Its capital is Accra and the current President is Nana Akufo-Addo  (wikipedia.org )

What is TERKCARE:  is a foundation that was created by TERKLOVING to provide both Street Kids & Students going through difficulties with support in the form of supplies such as clothes, hygiene products, food or school essentials.

We believe this is not just a magnanimous gesture but a stepping-stone for them to build their self for a better future being able to pursue their dreams and goals.

How would we know the money was used for  the right reasons?

Transparency and accountability are crucial to the success of any humanitarian endeavor, that is why we provide Receipts, Video and Picture evidences, posted online publicly so that our donors know their money is going to those that matter.

Why should we support this cause? 

We believe a little drop of water makes a mighty ocean and we want all well-meaning people to support us to make the world a better place by starting here. As African descendants we believe it takes a village to raise a child.  Which means it takes whole community of different people coming together to build the Next Generation and we want to start with you.
